San Francisco

Last week I was able to go to San Francisco with my husband while my mother-in-law stayed with our kids. My husband works for Viper West Demo team. It is a F-16 Demo team stationed out of Hill AFB Utah. They flew in an airshow there and it was also Fleet week. I had such an amazing time. I got to take a bay city cruise around the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The weather was perfect. Also we stayed right by Fishermans Warf and got to eat the most amazing seafood. I loved all the shops at Ghiradelli Square and Pier 39. I definately at my share of chocolate and sourdough bread!!

The airshow was a lot of fun to watch also. We got to sit in a VIP tent with complimentary food and wine. We watched the Snowbirds, Blue Angels, Patriots and my favorite Viper West. My husband narrates for the team and also is the Team Chief. They are a great group of guys and always a lot of fun to hang out with. The only unfortunate downside is that he is gone a lot during their season. But it isn't too bad when I can go too!!
We are now counting down the days until we get to go to Disneyland. We leave this weekend and my kids can hardly wait. We weren't able to take a family vacation this last summer and decided we wanted to go to Disney during the off season.
Also I am now getting into the early spirit of Christmas-it's kind of hard not to with all the stores bringing out their Christmas merchandise. Plus it has started to cool off here, last weekend we had 7 inches of snow. Kind of a crazy early snow storm. But I love driving and seeing all the trees with their yellow and reds and orange leaves. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year.
